Thank you for your interest in the March 19, 2015 PLC covering the topic of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Math Interventions.

Rob Stephenson and Tara Becker-Utess presented insightful content discussing tier 2 and tier 3 interventions and strategies. Discussion was generated for ways in which these interventions and strategies may benefit students in the Ingham County area. The learning objectives included 1) The attendees were to articulate a process for matching math intervention and strategies to underlying skill deficit. 2) The attendees were to gain two supplemental math interventions and strategies they will for support students' math needs.

During the session, Cindy Wolff from Okemos Public Schools shared a problem-solving intervention called R2D2 that she has found helps students with math problem solving. She has shared that resource with us, which can be found here:

The next PLC for school psychologists, school social workers, and speech and language pathologists will be on May 4, 2015 from 8:30am to 11:45am in TEC A & B.
